"It has been some time since I last took a stroll down Bangla Road. Even during the years I lived in Phuket, from 2000 to 2007, I wasn't a frequent visitor. I was, however, a huge fan of Rock City and was sad to see it close during the pandemic.

For me, Bangla Road is an experience that must be seen and enjoyed. It has a welcoming atmosphere that isn't intimidating, unlike some of the streets you might find in Pattaya. A trip to Phuket simply isn't complete without a visit.

My sister has countless fond memories from her clubbing days there. I have my own unforgettable story from the street, too—playing in a pool final at Illuzion nightclub. Having a thousand people watch me win was certainly an intimidating, yet incredible, experience"
